John has provided financial services to individuals and businesses for 28 years. A former teacher, John uses his educational experience to keep his clients informed and help them make decisions in this ever-changing financial world. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) designation in 1995 and his Certification in Long Term Care (CLTC) designation in 2006.

His community involvement includes: 20 years as a member of the Moretown Selectboard, 15 as Chair; 16 year member and past president of the Waterbury Rotary Club; President of the 200 Club at the Central Vermont Medical Center; past president of the Friends of the Horticulture Farm of the University of Vermont; past board member of the Vermont Arson Ttp Award Program.

John and his wife Ruth live in a 200-year-old farmhouse in Moretown, where they raised their two sons and daughter.
