Tim has been advising clients around Vermont and New England since 2004. His areas of expertise are fee based financial planning, retirement income planning, cash flow analysis, wealth management and protection solutions. Building relationships while utilizing the resources of the team it is his goal to deliver world class service and an excellent overall experience to each and every client.
Helping people gain clarity about their goals and making sure they are well positioned to attain them has been Tim’s focus since the beginning. As a financial planner, his work is holistic and comprehensive when helping clients stay engaged and get educated about how to make the right decisions for themselves and their families.

Tim grew up in Vermont within a family of outdoor enthusiasts. After high school he attended Clarkson University while running a summertime business providing guided canoe and kayak tours to individuals, families and businesses throughout New England.
Tim and his wife Rebecca live in Richmond with their son Maxon, daughter Taylor, and two fun loving dogs. The two enjoy spending time with family and friends, golfing, hiking, paddling, participating in community programs and running a hobby size maple sugaring operation on their property in town.
Rebecca has been a top producer in the industry since she began her career in 2006. She provides a wide range of financial advisory services, including retirement planning, estate conservation, protection planning, and business succession, to an established clientele of professionals, entrepreneurs and multi-generational families.
Working diligently to truly understand a client’s situation, Rebecca excels in understanding the whole picture quickly. She considers how clients think and feel about their current financial situations, and she uses her expertise in financial planning to help clients set goals and make the right decisions.
Rebecca loves spending time with her husband and children outdoors, exploring Vermont and getting together with friends and family.

John has been providing financial services to personal and business clients in Vermont and nationwide for over 30 years. He has been working in the current Vermont Baystate Financial office since 1992. John has held several positions in the financial services industry including client services, firm management and corporate executive.
John brings a broad range of experience and training to simplify decision making in today’s complex financial and economic environment. Working on the principles of knowledge, integrity and service, John has earned a reputation as a respected and effective professional.
He is a past president and board member of industry professional associations as well as civic and charitable organizations, such as:
George has been an investment professional in Vermont for the past 30 years, joining the PFA team in January 2019. Previously, George held positions at Sentinel Investments, Dwight Asset Management, and KDP Investment Advisers. He has worked in a variety of capacities, both as a quantitative investment analyst and as a high yield credit analyst. He has also had significant experience in the management of investment operations.
George brings a broad range of experience and training to help simplify the investment process in today’s complex financial and economic environment. Working from a foundation of knowledge, integrity and service, he has earned a reputation as a respected and effective professional.
George holds a BA from Stanford University and an MA in Economics from New York University. He obtained his CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation in 1992.
George was, previously, a member of the board of directors of the Vermont Institute for Science, Math and Technology.

Lexie works with our Financial Planners to help clients understand their big financial picture and achieve their financial dreams.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Vermont in 2009, Lexie began her work in the financial services industry. She is a Certified Financial Planner™, receiving her CFP® Certification in 2017. She is also licensed to sell health and life insurance and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.
When not in the office, Kaknes can usually be found outdoors – She enjoys skiing, hiking and running marathons.

Lexie Forest, CFP
Corey has worked in financial services in Vermont since graduating from with a bachelor’s degree in Finance from The Robert P. Stiller School of Business at Champlain College in 2017. The program is recognized as a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) University Affiliated program, which is one of the most respected investment credentials in the world. Prior to graduation, he completed the Mass Internship Program through MassMutual. Hill holds FINRA Series 6 and 63 registrations.
Corey works with registered representatives to help determine client needs, recommend financial strategies and provide information on new and existing products and services. He is also active in Integrity BNI, where he holds the Life & Disability Insurance seat and works on the membership committee.
When not working with clients, Corey is a firefighter and emergency medical technician with the Williston Fire Department.
Staff Associate, Protection Products
Melissa drives the PFA brand strategy and is the brand key liaison for both internal and market partners. She works to develop short- and long-term strategies and executes the brand vision through marketing and business development.
Prior to her work with PFA, Melissa led marketing efforts at a top local real estate firm, a professional trade association and a marketing/advertising company. She also spent many years as a reporter, designer and editor at newspapers throughout the United States. Melissa has a BA in Public Relations from Western Kentucky University and studied in the University of Northern Colorado's Sports Marketing Graduate Program.
Melissa enjoys coffee, travel, reading, and spending time with her family and her dogs.
Director of Branding & Business Strategy
Betty has years of client service and operations experience in both the financial and public sector. She was most recently a Program Technician with the State of Vermont, and previously worked as an Office Manager and Executive Assistant at Strategic Wealth Coach in Essex Junction.
Betty received her Associate in Science Degree from Champlain College and currently holds her Series 6 License. She has volunteered with the Christmas Castle Program and the Salvation Army.
